Entrance Examinations
Entrance examinations are arranged between 2 April and 3 May 2013.
Details of dates and venues will be informed to the applicants in the invitation letter.
Entrance examinations at the premises of Vaasa University of Applied Sciences will be held as follows:

Information Technology: 25th April 2013 (Wolffintie 30, Vaasa)
Exam in Mathematics, Physics/Chemistry, Logical Deduction and compulsory English section included in the entrance examination
- International Business: 24th April 2013 (Raastuvankatu 31, Vaasa)
Multiple choice questions, mathematical-logical section, essay, interview and compulsory English section included in the entrance examination
International Business Entrance Exam 2013 Pre-Reading Material:
Pre-reading material for International Business entrance examination is Fiskars Annual report 2011 (PDF).
There will be an essay and multiple choice questions based on this pre-reading material. Applicants are expected to study pages 1 to 47 for the examination. The chapter on “Remuneration” ending on page 47 is the last page to study for the exam.
The applicant cannot take this material to the actual entrance exam and the material is not available for the applicant during the actual entrance exam.
Entrance examinations outside Finland
The invitation letters to the entrance examinations will be sent to all eligible applicants in the middle of March 2013. All entrance examinations outside Finland will be held between 11 April - 20 April 2013. Details of the venues and dates will be informed to the applicants in the invitation letter.
Vaasa University of Applied Sciences is part of FINNIPS -network. In 2013 entrance examinations will be arranged in countries below. We also invite applicants to the entrance examinations from neighboring countries (inside brackets).
Check the entrance examination countries and neighboring countries carefully before applying. Applicant must attend to entance examination in the country where he/she has been invited to.
Universities of Applied Sciences inform applicants on the Finnnips website in which countries their degree programmes participate in entrance examinations in spring 2013.
