Contents

The course consists of two parts:

* Business mathematics and financial mathematics: student learns the basic methods used in everyday business calculations.

* Financial mathematics: student learns more advanced financial calculations

There are various companies operating in the region and suitable cases are used in classes.

International learning environment. Suitable cases about financial methods and situations in other countries.

Assessment Criteria

5 = The student is able to utilise theories, concepts and methods consistently in various situations.
3 = The student is able to utilize essential concepts in single situations and assignments and understand the theories on which the assignments are based.

The evaluation of the course is based on the student activity to participate to exercises and on the test result.
