The objective of the degree programme is to provide with abilities to work in ecological land use planning, environmental engineering in communities and industry, protection of working and living environment. The environmental engineer is able to work in local or international tasks of environmental planning, administration or research and product development.

The student is introduced to the basics of Energy and Environmental Technology.

The student understands the significance of sustainable development and is able to conceive the interdependencies in energy generation and environment.

Solutions and application

In the specialisation in Energy Technology the student deepens her/his know-hows in various methods of producing energy and is able to assess their profitability and environmental impacts. S/He learns project management required in the implementation of large energy project and international sales know-how. In the specialisation in Environmental Technology the student looks into the basic functions in society and the variety of technical solutions applied, such as municipal engineering and water and waste management. In addition, the student learns to assess the environmental impacts of projects and participate in the ecologically sound design of living environment.

Degree program
EY  Energy and Environmental Technology
The objective of the degree programme is to provide with abilities to work in ecological land use planning, environmental engineering in communities and industry, protection of working and living environment. The environmental engineer is able to work in local or international tasks of environmental planning, administration or research and product development.
 
Annual Themes
EY-1  Basics in Energy and Environmental Technology
The student is introduced to the basics of Energy and Environmental Technology.
EY-2  Sustainable Development
The student understands the significance of sustainable development and is able to conceive the interdependencies in energy generation and environment.
EY-3  Solutions and application
In the specialisation in Energy Technology the student deepens her/his know-hows in various methods of producing energy and is able to assess their profitability and environmental impacts. S/He learns project management required in the implementation of large energy project and international sales know-how.
In the specialisation in Environmental Technology the student looks into the basic functions in society and the variety of technical solutions applied, such as municipal engineering and water and waste management. In addition, the student learns to assess the environmental impacts of projects and participate in the ecologically sound design of living environment.
EY-4  Wide management of entities
An engineer in Energy and Environmental Technology manages and can anticipate widely the entities related to energy generation, distribution and utilization as well as environmental impacts of human activities.
