SAT test

Vaasa UAS uses SAT test in international student admissions in 2018. SAT test is a worldwide test organized by the College Board.

Test consists of the following sections:

  1. Reading test
  2. Writing and Language test
  3. Math test
  4. Essay

Vaasa UAS requires a minimum score of 400 from Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, and 400 from Mathematic. Therefore applicant is required to take reading test, writing and language test and math test. Essay is not required.

(Electronical) score report should be ordered directly from the test center and are to be delivered to Vaasa UAS by 13 April 2018 at the latest. Vaasa UAS SAT designated instition code is 6860.  Test date should not be later than March 2016. Score reports printed and sent by the applicant are not taken into consideration. Applicant should order separate score reports to each UAS using SAT as a selection method.

How are applicants admitted?

Selection Method 1: Entrance Examination (50% of applicants)

  • International Business (0-40 points, all exam parts must be passed for acceptance)
  • Information Technology (0-40 points, all exam parts must be passed for acceptance)

Selection Method 2: SAT test (50 % of applicants)

  • International Business (minimum score of 400 from Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, and 400 from Mathematic).
  • Information Technology (minimum score of 400 from Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, and 400 from Mathematic).
