Student Accommodation at VOAS

In general, the possibility for students to get reasonably priced accommodation in Vaasa is very good. The most used company that provides student apartments is Vaasan Opiskelija-Asuntosäätiö, VOAS (Vaasa Student Housing Foundation). Please note, that VOAS is an independent foundation and is not connected to VAMK in any way.

VOAS offers all kinds of housing all around Vaasa. You can apply for family housing, single apartments or shared apartments etc. Most of our exchange students choose to live in shared apartments, where two or three students share the kitchen and bathroom and each has his/her own bedroom.

There are good possibilities to find furnished rooms as well. In a such room there is a bed, writing table, clothes closet, chair and a bookshelf. Please note, that in the apartments there are no cutlery or bed linen when you move in.
