We would be delighted to welcome lecturers and staff members from our partner universities and we cordially invite you to join us in the three-day event.

The theme for the event is: “New Horizons for Learning and Innovation” and it is built under three thematic streams:

  • Entrepreneurship and sustainable development

The interrelatedness of studies in entrepreneurship, business and sustainable development locally as well as globally. The subject is by its nature interdisciplinary, and searches for new insights and innovations in order to achieve sustainability by combining ideas from areas such as business economics, management, entrepreneurship, psychology, ethics, ecology and philosophy, among others.

  • Open Source solutions for business and education

Case Presentations and Demonstration e.g. Open Meetings for video conferences, Moodle as a Platform for Education, USB Portable Apps for your Desktop, Zone Minder for video surveillance, Smart Web Surveys and much more…

  • Future challenges of international business

The aim is to discuss the future challenges in international business. The theme has been kept deliberately broad in nature and multidisciplinary. We invite both theoretical and empirical contributions on, but not limited to, the following topics: internationalization, international trade and finance, management, innovation management, cross-cultural issues, international marketing, teaching international business.

The event is being organized in order to meet with like-minded lecturers and professionals and to serve as a platform for increased cooperation. At the same time we would like to give our students and staff members an international experience at home.

We welcome you all to take part in presentations, discussions and workshops and in an interesting social program.

The participants are requested to prepare a presentation referring to some of the above themes and also to give a short presentation of their country and institution.

Welcome to our International Days where we are putting up “New Horizons for Learning and Innovation”!
