Student Union
Student Union of Vamk - VAMOK
In Vamk, there is a student union arranged by law. The duties of the student union are taken care of by Student Union VAMOK, a service and benefit surveillance organisation with about 1750 student members.
The duties of the student union are:
- Choose the student representatives to the board of VAMK and other work groups
- Act as a unifying bond between its members and bonding groups
- Advance its members’ societal, social and emotional as well as student-related intentions
- Act as a benefit organisation for its members, advance and supervise their common, student-related best-interests, especially study-social and educational affairs
- Support its members’ functional needs and arrange leisure time activities
- Organizing activities for students
