When you log into Microsoft 365 service, login page redirects you to VAMK login page, (even in middle of login process) where you have to login using VAMK user id. This is a normal procedure and you can safely write your user id into that page. Web page, where you are redicted is adfs.vamk.fi.

Using Google Chromebook and Office 365 with Portal

Files can be normally uploaded for courses by drag-and-drop or selection “Add…”.

When a word document is opened from Portal, it uses Google Chrome’s own Google Docs cloude service by default. Google Docs is not what is used by VAMK.

When you want to edit a document using Microsoft Office 365, first save he document by clicking the “Download” button located on the top right corner on Google Docs. Once downloaded, it can be uploaded to OneDrive where it is possible to edit documents with Microsoft’s software. Files can be uploaded to OneDrive by clicking the “Upload” button or drag-and-drop.
