Encouraged by the positive experience, we are continuing the tradition of International Days and are organizing the event for the department of Social Services with the main theme being

There are several goals for this three-day event. First of all it is to give our students an international experience through the visiting lecturers and give the students the opportunity to learn about study abroad opportunities. Another, very important goal is to increase the possibilities for networking among colleagues and experts and expand international cooperation and good practice.

The event consists of presentations, round table discussions, and social program. We are also delighted to organize site visits according to visitors’ interests. We are also organizing a platform for visitors and local social workers for negotiations and networking.

We cordially invite lecturers and staff members from our partner universities to participate in the International Days event. Lecturers are invited to send proposals for a one hour lecture on Tuesday. The listeners on Tuesday are mainly 1st, 2nd and 3rd year Social Services students and social workers in Vaasa region.
